03/19/08 ISI Telemanagement Solutions announces support for Avaya Survivable CDR

Infortel® Select Call Accounting can poll Call Detail Records (CDR)
even when the switch, server or communications links fail.

SCHAUMBURG, Illinois, March 19, 2008— ISI Telemanagement Solutions, Inc., a leading global provider of comprehensive cost management solutions for voice, data, wireless and integrated communications, and an Innovator Member of the Avaya Developer Connection Program, today announced the launch of a new feature aimed at maintaining critical call reporting functionality in the event of a partial switch or communications link failure. Infortel® Select, ISI’s industry-leading telecom cost management software, is one of the only solutions of its kind to be able to automatically log into the Survivable Call Detail Records (CDR) modules on the Avaya G700 and gather CDR for management reporting as if the switch were still fully functional.

Laura Dritt, ISI’s Director of Product Management, said, “Prior to Survivable CDR, customers would have to purchase a buffer box or collection server for each Main Processor, Local Survivable Processor and Enterprise Survivable Processor on the switch or, risk losing all CDR in the event of a switch, server or communications link failure. This was cost prohibitive for most and put critical call record information in jeopardy.” Ms. Dritt continued, “Now, ISI has a solution for these customers with Infortel® Select. In conjunction with the Avaya Communications Manager 4.0, Infortel® Select can automatically log into each of the Survivable CDR modules through a special log-in and password that the Switch Administrator has created especially for this purpose. Infortel® Select is then able to gather and process CDR with no lapse in reporting. It’s like the failure never happened.”
